Ramat HaNegev is home to outstanding agricultural initiatives, and our farmers are at the vanguard of world-renowned desert agriculture. Our farmers use the sun's challenges, lack of freshwater, height, and arid region for our benefit.

Our pioneers set the foundation for our Research and Development Center for Advanced Agriculture. Through experimentation, trials, and innovative technologies, we push the envelope to bring more knowledge to our farmers and the world. This Center also includes an International Student program to teach students from all over the world innovative and advanced desert agriculture techniques. Today, it is host to hundreds of students from counties such as Vietnam, Miramar, Jamaica, Guatemala, and others.

 
Today Ramat HaNegev farmers grow a wide variety of products, including 70% of the Israeli cherry tomato production, olives, strawberries, dairy products, grape for wine production, exotic mushrooms, blueberries, pineapples, Asian greens, potatoes, and so much more.
